Actually 17 months in this pic taken by Christiane!
One and a Half Years Old....I seriously have a hard time thinking he is already 18 months.

Height: 31.5 inches
Weight: 23 pounds
Teeth: STILL working on incisors…..STILL
Dislikes: When his football gets taken or lost, and when he isn’t able to locate either Kyle or me at the house, and he really doesn’t like to be in his car seat.
Interests:
Jumping on any trampoline, animals, animal noises, lawn mowers, books, hanging from the swing set, pretending to “drive” Daddy’s truck, helping Mommy clean (He’s a very good helper!), AIRPLANES, jumping in his bed, watching blue’s clues.
Words: WOW! About 3 weeks ago Cape just took off in the speech department. He will repeat or try to say almost anything you tell him to. He knows what he calls grandparents and other family. Still working on saying his name.
Sleep: Bedtime 8-8 , and Naptime is 1:45-4:00 (due to time change coming soon) then we will go back to regular times.
Food: Loves cottage cheese, yogurt, fruit and veggie packs you can suck on, he has been a bit pickier lately, but we are hoping it’s just a phase because he’s always been a great eater. Not a big fan of candy…..I know….WEIRD, but I am glad right now that he doesn’t just want sweets.
Major event: Talking has improved drastically, likes to joke around and make you laugh, can tell you he is 1 and hold a finger up, he had his first major "boo boo" when he went running into the corner of some furniture.
New Things/Places: Traveled to Amarillo and Cedar Park to visit family, rode on an airplane...King air to be exact, visited the corn maize and pumpkin patch.
Funnies: When you ask to see his teeth or for him to smile he gives the cutest biggest grin ever, and has taken a liking to the camera, and he loves to put just about anything on as a hat!

Cape, Mommy loves you so much! Your daddy does too, but this one is from Mom! I remember holding you in one arm up on my shoulder and your feet only came down to my chest while you were curled up. Now I hold you and your feet hang way down. No matter how old and big you may get sweet boy, you will ALWAYS be my little boy. You have such a sweet and fun spirit and I hope I nurture that everyday. I have few words to describe Mommy's love, but know it is a huge deep love for exactly who you are! A blessing!
