Mother's Day and Dedication

We are lucky we even have a pic with Cape's tie on...he quickly shed his vest and shoes after the dedication.

It was my 2nd Mother's day as a mommy, and what a delightful day it was. We started out by going to the late service at church where we had Cape's Dedication. We will do our best with the Lord's help to raise him in our home with God's words and the love of Jesus. After-all, Cape is a gift to us straight from our heavenly Father. :) Then we headed to Nana and Papa's for lunch with both my and Kyle's families. We are so blessed to have family surround us to celebrate the day. After lunch and naps we spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out by the pool at my parents' house. It was a fun, and relaxing day. Thank you Lord for making me a mommy. It is the most wonderful gift you have given me.
