Half a Year

All Curled Up

Half of a year! I am speechless...well almost... when I think about how quickly this time has flown by. It was this time last year that we were letting everyone know that we were expecting our sweet Baby W. He was Baby W until literally the minute he was born. I can remember everything like it just happened, but I know it won't always be so clear. I write everything here so I can go back and enjoy the memories someday.

Cape William Wooldridge you are growing so so fast, learning so much each day, and we are overjoyed and honored that God placed you in our lives. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you and love you!

October 2010
Cape...
-loves his brown rice cereal and have been eating 1/2 cup for breakfast and dinner.
-weighs about 14.5 pounds.
-loves bouncing bouncing bouncing on everything (mommy's legs, doorway jumper, excersaucer, etc.)
-can sit up by himself, but once he is tired he rares back as hard as he can (sometimes bumping his little head)
-eats dinner about 6:15 each evening
-LOVES to splash in the bathtub, and laughs when we sprinkle water on him with the cups with holes.
-loves to play on his tummy.
-rolls all over the place.
-spins in circles on his tummy.
-is starting to "scoot" around....backwards.
-laughs all the time.
-is a great traveler no matter what is going on, but does have a hard time sleeping through the night sometimes.
-is becoming more patient when waiting on his cereal to be prepared.
-loves to sit in his bed and look around or play by himself.
-now has his mattress lowered to the lowest level.
-says dadadada all the time
-loves to be outside! We go get the mail everyday and he helps me carry it in. So cute!

  2. Happy 6 month birthday, Mr. Cape! I wish you'd slow down on the whole growing thing though. I know your mommy agrees with Aunt Mon. You sure are cute and I love your expressions too. I hope you're ready to teach Quin and Tabor a thing or two...you're the big cousin =) We love you!
