After carrying this baby boy in my tummy for 9 months and then having been with him every second since he was born, it is VERY strange to not have him with me when I go places. Kyle stayed at the house with him while I ran to pick up a couple of things one evening, which was not too big of a deal. I was gone all of 30 minutes, and he was with Daddy. However I did feel like I was missing something the whole time.
The first REAL time we left Cape he was only 10 days old. Lolli (Kyle's mom) stayed at our house with him while Kyle took me on a Mother's Day lunch date. We went to Gardski's (YUM!) and Spoonful. Of course I needed some frozen yogart while we were out! Thanks babe for a great date! It was weird that we didn't have Cape with us, but it was only for about 2 hours, and the time together was good for us both. Well all 3 of us really!
