Happy New Year in 2009!

Happy New Year everyone! We had a wonderful New Year's Eve. Kyle and I went with 4 other couples to eat a late dinner at Double Nickel. (I've had a very fun past few days. The day before I had gone to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, which was so awesome with such a great message.) Anyway, I could probably be borderline vegetarian because meat isn't my favorite thing, but I had the steak salad and it was delicious! We knew all but one couple. It was so much fun to get dressed up and go eat a nice dinner with some fun people. After dinner half of us went to the Keator's house to ring in the New Year. We watched some TV and talked and I ate a ton of chex mix stuff Liz had made. It was covered in white chocolate so of course it was yummy! We had a great time, and laughed all the way home. So we left our house and Bentley in 2008 and got back a year later. :) 10, 9, 8, 7.........and so now it is 2009! I can't believe how quickly 2008, or 2001-2009 went for that matter.

I am looking forward to a very blessed and exciting 2009. God is so gracious to us! For those of you that like to read. A sweet friend of mine (Danielle ;) ) recommended "The Shack" to me. I read it in a few days, and it is so wonderful. I would like to pass that on for some life altering reading in 2009. Happy New Year to all, and to all a Blessed Year!

  1. I LOVED The Shack! One of the best books I have ever read! I tried to read it slow (tried) because it was so good and I wanted to savor it for as long as I could!
