July aka The month we were gone!

07-04-11
Cape went to his first parade and loved it! We left there and went to spend the day with family in Amarillo sending off Matt, Kyle's cousin, to boot camp in Georgia. It was a nice 4th of July! So thankful for our Freedoms!

Kyle and I celebrated our 4th anniversary this July by getting all dressed up and went to eat at Gardski's downtown, which was yummy, then to a movie. It was nice to have a night for the two of us. Here's to MANY MANY more anniversaries! Thank you Lord for helping us each become a better partner for the other each day. We are a work in progress! :)

Gary Reunion - Glen Rose, Texas
Cape and I rode with my mom and brother, Cam,  to the Country Woods Inn. Cape watched his first short movie in the car....the Baby Einsteins wild animals was his favorite and it only has music and pics of animals! It was a neat retreat with old farm houses and lots of animals. We even took Cape on a wagon ride to town. It has been a year since our Murr went to be with Jesus, and we miss her everyday.  Glad to spend time with everyone, and let Cape see what fun it is to be out in the HOT sun and fresh air.....all day! :)

Going to eat!

Let me out of here!

Cape and Graham's "little lake" at the lake :)
Cape and I headed to the lake with my family just a few days after the reunion, and then Kyle met us there on Friday. We had a really fun trip, and enjoyed playing in the sand, and water, skiing, and just relaxing a bit by the water. I need to get photos from the boat from Mom.  I love it down there!

The three of us then ventured to Amarillo again for a friend of the family's wedding. It was beautiful evening and fantastic food! Becky (the groom's mother) caters to all kinds of neat people and events (Oprah, Governor Perry, etc...). We also took Cape to the Zoo with Lolli and Pops. He Loved it!!
