Happy 10 months Cape!

Happy 10 Month Birthday SWEET Cape!

February brought everything from snow storms, freezing and single digit temps, wind and dust storms, to finally WARM weather!! We had a family date for Valentine's Day. Kyle and I love to go look around Barns and Noble, so we went there and looked and let Cape look at the kids section. Both of the books I was looking for were gone, so I got to order those on Amazon. One was my 3rd Babywise book - the pre-toddler one, and have just about finished it, but I always keep them around for reference. The other is called Reshaping it All by Candace Cameron Bure (yes DJ from Full House), and so far I really like it. Kyle found several new "look books" or coffee table books, and we got Cape a new touch and feel Biscuit Valentine's book.  Then we headed off to Chik-Fil-A to grab some dinner to take home. YAY no clean up! We all had fun and after Cape was off to sleep Kyle and I got to just relax a bit.
I have loved getting outdoors again. Cape was so little last summer and fall that I hardly ever took him outdoors for fear he might brake. :) Over these 10 months he has learned and grown so much, and so has mommy. I love that I get to take advantage of beautiful days and go for wagon or stroller rides. Sometimes we just go sit out in the backyard...well I sit and Cape dances in my lap. :)
Just gave Daddy big kisses

Here is a top 10 peek at what he has been up to this month:1.  Cape is officially off bottles and now drinks from a sippy cup for all feedings, which he holds himself.
2.  He loves to be outside, and is so excited when we go for walks.
3.  He waves bye-bye the cutest way, with his little hand and wrist almost rolling up and down.
4.  He celebrated another cousins birthday when Graham turned 1, and he L-O-V-E-D the tissue paper!
5.  Got his first official haircut the day after he turned 10 months. Natalie (our hair dresser) did great trying to cut the wiggly crying little boy's hair!6.  He gets SOOOO excited when Daddy gets home; it's precious how he crawls as fast as he can with this big toothy grin until he reaches him.
7.  He pushes his chubby cars all around the house, and knows how to make them face the correct direction. I have no idea how he knows that.
8. He loves to give baby Cape (pictures) kisses.
9. He walks behind anything that will move now, and has taken several steps all by himself. The most is 5 so far. He also maneuvers his truck he walks behind VERY well under and around everything. All this moving around also gave him his first little black eye.
10. Our biggest thing this month was when Cape stayed in the nursery at church for the first time last Saturday night. He did GREAT, but mommy cried. He just seemed so big playing in there.

I'm 10 months old and out for a stroller ride with Aunt B and Graham!
To our little boy: We love you so much Cape William. I hope someday you can read some of these stories and laugh with mommy and daddy over all the cute funny things you did when you were so little. Everyday you amaze me with something new you've learned to do.  I can't hardly put into words how blessed I feel to get to be home with you everyday. Mommy and Daddy love you little bear.
