4 MONTHS +

sweet sweet Cape William

It is so hard to believe how fast time can fly. It literally feels like yesterday that we were finding out we were expecting this little baby, and now here he is 4 months old already! While it makes me sad to think I will never again see Cape through all these beginning stages of life, I am overjoyed with each new phase that comes next. He has gone from a tiny little infant to this chubby cheek, smiley, cooing, playing baby.

I love my new doorway jumper!

happy baby :)

mmm good thumb puddin'

playing makes me sleepy

Yummy TOYS!

I like tummy time now!

WHAT?

playing in the exersaucer
snoozin'

Cape.......
loves when Daddy gets home and flies him around the house
can raise his head 90 degrees when on his tummy, and actually likes tummy time now!
favorite toy is a squeaky frog or musical caterpillar
he has been in size 1-2 diapers
now sleeps with only his feet in the swaddle
can sit up in his exersaucer
loves to spin around in his doorway jumper
discovered his fingers and tries to put BOTH fists in his mouth at the same time
figured out how to suck his thumb
discovered his feet and likes to grab hold of them
still has his froggy sounding laugh
still loves to stand up
moves his head from side to side quickly so he can see EVERYTHING that is going on
coos, and smiles  back at you in conversation
can splash in the bathtub, and loves his new cups with holes that sprinkle water on him
listens to a Bible verse, motivational quotes from Ben Franklin, and a story every night
loves his luvies
has much lighter hair than when he was born
can keep his head level with his body when raised up by his hands
weighs about 14 lbs.
is eating mommy's milk 5 times a day
wakes up at about 7AM
is in bed by about 8PM (however he does make noises for a while sometimes ;)  )
IS STILL the MOST WONDERFUL BLESSING to US!

We love you Cape William!

We had another sad loss in our family this month. Papa, Kyle's maternal grandfather, passed away unexpectedly August 22.It is sad to lose those we love, and especially shocking when it happens suddenly. Papa was a very loving and happy person. He and Mama were married 60 years, and we will all miss him very much. Papa is who Cape is named after. His full name was James E. Cape. We are glad we named him Cape, and now have our special treasure to remind us of him everyday. We love you Papa!
