I love April! I know I say this every year, but the bradford pear trees start to bloom and it sets the mood for a beautiful spring! And, GrEaT nEwS, all of the trees we planted last year (5) made it through the winter!
We had a wonderful Easter. How can you not, when all day long you are reminded that not matter what you have done or will do, if you have accepted the good news that Jesus Christ died for YOU and ME and rose again that you are SAVED from eternal death seperate from God. Thank you seems so insignificant.
Yesterday was the beginning of weekly visits to the doctor. Everything is still on schedule for right around May 1st for us to greet our baby boy!! Only 3 WEEKS to GO!! As soon as it started to seem like I had been pregnant forever, it almost over. Isn't God's timing perfect?!? Not much to report from the OB this week. Baby's heart rate is still in the upper 130s. He IS head down for sure, and hasn't dropped down quite yet. I could have told you that by the way his little bottom rests on my right rib cage. :) We will see what has changed when I return next Wednesday! I am going to get our car seat put in my car by Karen Slay. Just FYI, but 97% of car seats are not properly installed, and therefore would not protect your child as well should you have a crash. You can go by a firestation and they can help you install it correctly, but if you are in the Lubbock area I suggest seeing Karen. She really knows what she is talking about and doing! Peace of Mind!
I have at the most 16 days of school left to teach. Bitter-sweet! I will miss my wonderful team, but I am sooo excited to get to stay home with our little one!
