Yes you read that correctly; baby love has filled our house. Kyle and I are expecting our first little miracle May 1, 2010! We are more excited than we can put into words. I am a little over 13 weeks, and we have already had a sonogram which went great.
We told Kyle's parents on Saturday and then my parents on Sunday evening, and of course they were all so excited! We gave them Halloween cards that said Love, Grandbaby #4 (Kyle's side) and #2 (my side). I wish we had pictures of their reactions, but getting a camera out right when you hand someone a card might signal something is about to happen. :) Our siblings are all excited for us too.
As soon as our Dr. turned on the sonogram machine and found a good picture, we saw a tiny little arm and hand and fingers waving at us. She also said that all my tests had come back looking great. What a blessing. However when she asked me what I had eaten all day, I flunked my quiz. I haven't had any food cravings (except for the jar of pickles I bought and then ate almost all by myself), in fact food hasn't sounded good in about 6 weeks. I try to make myself eat healthy, but sometimes it isn't the best food. So I have made a conscious effort to make my habits better, which is slowly getting easier since I have started to feel a little less nauseous in the last few days.
All three of our nieces and our soon to be nephew will have a little cousin to play with from our side now. :) We've been praying for this little baby and for God's timing, and prayers are very much appreciated for a healthy little baby girl or boy! Until then we will keep you posted!
